New Orleans Architecture Tours seeks to bring guests through different neighborhoods to learn about how various cultures shape the buildings which in turn shape the community.
I founded this company after being a guide for 2 years. I realized as I started adding details about the stunning architecture to my standard Historical Garden District Tour, that before long I had a full tour of material that would not only tell this history of the neighborhood but also allow the buildings to tell their story. They are all special – from the tiny Creole Cottages in the French Quarter to the grand antebellum mansions Uptown. Even the block full seemingly ordinary ranch homes in the Garden District has a tale to tell.
I understand that there are many tour companies operating in New Orleans right now and I appreciate the chance to show you something a little different from what is currently being offered.
